THIS DEVICE WILL HEAL YOUR MARRIAGE

Finally got myself a GPS at the Mobile and It fair at Harbour Place in Klang.
It was a real bargain at only MYR380.00.It comes with a one year warranty. It has Garmin and Papago softwares. My Pastor said getting the GPS(Global Positioning System)is a good investment, as it will heal your marriage. He is firm believer in GPS. You will be surprise how many people asked him about the GPS after the service. Those of us who had back seat drivers will know what kind of unnecessary heated argument we can avoid with this new device.Well, I had my fair share of argument too.But that was a long time ago. Now a days we drive separate cars.!(LOL) No, actually when we do go to an unknown places we make a pact not to argue and if we are really lost to ask for direction. She always claim I had problem with that! Anyway with this new baby I think we can finally reach our destination in peace. It is a welcome to hear clear soothing direction from the navigator. In case we still get lost now we can always put the blame on the GPS. Would'nt it be nice whenever we reached our destination to hear a soothing voice complimenting us"Well done you have reached your destination or something to that effect, since we don't hear that from our spouse right?
Well people if you have not got your GPS go get one. The sales ends this sunday.

STAND BY FOR LAUNCHING OF..

I was at the Chap Goh Mei celebration last evening at HP(not the printer company),the new shopping mall that is promised to take Klang by storm. It is called Harbour Place, located on the main road towards Port Klang. For location map please refer here.
The Chung Hwa opened with their flag performance followed by Wushu, Chinese traditional cultural dance by different groups. I was busy taking photographs and was really surprised when Mr Marx Aideit Samani acknowledged me. He was refering to my earlier posting on the new year eve celebration on facebook. You may see the photos on facebook here. I had expressed my fear harbour place might suffered the same fate as the plaza across the river. He assured the guests that Harbour place was committed and that they will not allow it to be another white elephant, like the plaza I was refering to.He went on with an illustration of the chicken and the cow story.A chicken and a cow went for a walk around the farm. As they passed the farmers window they noticed a wonderful breakfast prepared for the farmer and his wife sitting on the breakfast table. As they peeked closer they noticed steak and eggs on the plates.
The cow and chicken were silent for a moment as they took in the impact of what they saw. Finally, looking at the eggs and prideful of her contribution, the chicken said, "now that was a sacrifice!" The cow looked at the steak on the plate and finally turned to the chicken and said, "Yes, for you it is a sacrifice. But for us it is total commitment!" He liken Harbour Place as the cow, and that is how committed Harbour Place will be. To date only two shops lots are fully occuppied on the ground floor ,Eastwear Fashion and Lil McQueen, another fashion house.
Under renovations now is Geylang Kopitiam and they are targeted to open when MBO cinemas open either late April or early May.It will have a total of 10 screening halls . Klang movie goers will enjoy MBO’s key advantage of competitive ticket rates while enjoying all the same movies, with quality service.
Currently, the Tune Group will open two big outlets; i.e. Tune Sports Cafe and Tune Studios.Tune Cafe is a two level cafe designed to cater for the family and friends to enjoy their meals and get together while at the same time, if they so wish, listen to the performance by professional artistes on the balcony on the first floor.Tune Studios has two major operations; one is a professionally styled recording studio for Amateurs who can come and jam and, at the same time, record their performance while the other one is solely for professional artistes..Also opening would be VR4U motor sports and aeronautics that will open various operations as follows:
- a motor simulation where one can learn to drive and learn the rules of driving. It's like driving a real car but in very safe conditions and, of course, sheltered from the rain and sun.
- when you are ready, there will also be F1 simulation where you can learn how to drive like an F1 DRIVER. Now we can all drive at great speed without fear of breaking the law.
- vR4U will also be opening a small go-kart facility just outside of Harbour Place for you to start experiencing the fun of go-karting.

HQ for Sensei Warrior program for Woman and Children safety awareness will also be at Harbour Place. A demo will be held during the coming school holidays.
People of Klang,be excited, be very excited.(I am already excited just blogging this) I will be looking forward to their official launch towards the second half of this year. I have faith Harbour Place will be the cool, fun place for us to hang out with our families and friends.

IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING TOUGH,BUT BEING ADVENTUROUS

Just had a fun trip to Bukit Tabur East ,the Crystal Hill Eastern Side, this morning.I was invited by my friend Alvin Chang for this trip,Well since it was quite a while that I have not gone for hiking I jumped at his offer. He was kind enough to offer me a ride to our destination. we left Klang together with his companion, Esther Leong around 4.30 am and headed for our rendezvous near Taman Melawati. Due to some technical problem with the GPS, we found ourselves in some unknown place As soon as we reliased we were taken for a "ride" we checked with our other Gps, Gary"mountain" Loong, who directed us to the meeting place and upon arrival headed for Bukit Tabur. The team was led by William Foo with Edwin who acted as a sweeper at the back of the line to ensure no one went astray. As we made our climb up the hill , a thought run through my mind. silly old man what are you doing here when you should be in your warm bed at home.? Every hills was different and this one was no exception. It was quite risky as the path was very narrow. most of the time we were walking on the crystal quartz-rich ridge. walking in the dark we had to be extra careful, one wrong slip it will be a long way down. After an hour and half or so we reached one of the peak where we stopped for a while to admired the scenery and view the klang gate dam, while waiting for the sun rise. with the cool breeze carressing our faces. The view from the top was just breath taking. Those with cameras started taking photos to captured what ever they fancied, particulary the sunrise. Once that was done we continued the climb to the peak. some who had climbed before stayed back while the first timers eagerly waited for their turn to climb up to the peak. As both hands were needed to climb , I left my hiking stick with a friend and make my way up.I made it almost with no problem. It is not about being tough, but rather about being adventurous. It is a about conquering your fear, the unknown. when you have done it, you will find such satisfaction. I could see the Kuala lumpur tower, the twin towers as well as part of Kuala Lumpur city from the top. what a spectacular view . Now I looked forward to climb on the western side. I am grateful for the team ,and those who organised this trip. It was very well coordinated trip indeed. what a day, what an adventure!

Anniversary Pledge

My dearest wife
Two decades Plus eight today
I loved you then, I certainly still do now
Another 28 or more?
But atlas I fear this body might not obey
I will appreciate every moment now
Happy 28th Anniversary Today
to be together is blest
But to be with Him even far better
Let's make a pledge this day
When the roll is called yonder
Let's be there!

THE RACE I MISSED

Got up this morning, rather excited and headed for the stadium. it's gonna be my maiden run.I was looking forward to this the whole week. I was on my way almost near to my destination, I saw a lone runner with the t-shirt, the same one I was wearing. Horrors of horrors, it then dawn upon me, I might have been late. No, no, I refused to believe that. Going towards the stadium there were marshalls, policemen every where. The truth sets in. I was indeed late!
What is the moral of this story.? you might have registered, paid your dues and have all the necessary outfit, and even be ready, but unless you are in the race. It don't count. you have to run together with every one. Lesson learnt be on time.and be ready! I might missed this race, but I sure don't want to miss the race Paul is taking about.
see more on the articles here.

Gotta run now, I dont want to be late for church.
